Welcome to the launch of The Paramin Personality Lifetime Achievement Awards. Here are the rules
Everyone who is a reader to J'aime Paramin can nominate one Paramin Personality whose Lifetime body of work, or career, can be identified as having made an invaluable contribution to the enrichment of the culture, tradition, and social advancement of Paramin.
The award will consist of an engraved crystal piece courtesy of J'ame Paramin and a cash component courtesy of the readers
Donald Romany will be invited to chair the coordinating committee who will keep a record of all nominees, as well as tabulate the vote, and finally announce a winner.
Nominations will close at five pm on June 30th of this year
The list of nominees will be posted on July seventh on J'aime Paramin at which time voting will commence.
Each reader will be entitled to one vote. J'aime Paramin will maintain a voting page on this blog. Simply indicate in the comments of this article for whom you have casted your vote and it will be uploaded. Everyone will be able to view the voting page to check for the latest updates.
Contributions to the cash award will be a minimum of five dollars. The monies to be deposited into a Bank of America on-line account set up and managed by the coordinating committee. Once the winner is announced a banker's check will be issued to the recipient.To keep the process as transparent as possible the monthly bank statement will be posted on J'amie Paramin.
Voting will close at five PM on August seventh this year.
The winner will be formally announced on August thirty first
The Paramin development committee will be invited to make an official presentation at their annual parang festival in December.
